(And if you have a moment, I'd be really grateful if you could go vote for my story "Intent and Intensity" (#74) at the Jane Austen Made Me Do It Short Story Contest. Thanks!)

  1. Fellow blogfest participant and new follower here. These are some great answers. I especially like the squealing pig response. If you get a chance, check out my questionairre at:

  2. Great answers! Will pop over and check out your short story. I smiled at the Scottish accent. Should have qualified mine with an Irish accent! LOL

  3. Great answers. I'll see if I can't get over to the story contest sometime today or tomorrow.

Do you own guinea pigs? That's such an interesting answers...

  4. Too funny. My day gig is in construction where I work with a few Scottish and Irish workers that say "Fuck sake" all day long. We all tend to say it now, with our fake Scottish accents.

  5. I was out of the loop and didn't hear about this blofest til just now, but it looks like a fun one. Great answers!

I'll go check out your story. :)

  6. Ahahahaha! "squealing guinea pigs" Yes, that is a VERY annoying sound. One of my friends used to have two, and I couldn't stand hearing them doing...whatever they did. lol

  7. ew, yuck! Maw. Why didn't I think of that one...

And *sniff* your #10 made me get all teary... Why didn't I think of that one either? :o) <3

  8. Wish I'd thought of that for #10! Great answers!

  9. Sorry, Jenna, about the guitar bit. However, growing up on a farm (I was a tomgirl) has its pits. I fell from a tree and injured my left ear. Certain high-pitch sounds grate something awful. Guess I should have explained some. Having said that, I'm the Dancing Queen and can't resist a good time.

  10. OMG, I love your curse word answer! And it's so true, inspiration comes from superior efforts of those around us. Makes me want to try harder, get that pay-it-forward momentum going!

    Thanks for playing along!!

  11. I don't think there's anything a scottish accent can liven up.

    I'm a new follower.

  12. Love your favorite word, and your curse word/phrase!

  13. Peace is a great word. It holds so much promise to it. Lovely answers!

  14. A victims attitude gets under my skin also! Nice answers. :)

  15. For Fuck's Sake, said with a Scottish accent! Made me think of Billy Connolly, the comedian/actor! He swears brilliantly!
    Thanks for sharing your answers.
